The Sacramento Press
Thought I'd take a moment to plug the beta version of a new community website some friends of mine do: The Sacramento Press. It's just starting up, in beta form, but they have some big plans.
William-- Do you have any advice for the next mayor of Sacramento? I am collecting short comments for a package in the Sacramento Bee that we will run after the election. I'd like you to contribute. Please email me at dweintraub@sacbee.com. Thanks! Daniel Weintraub columnist Sacramento Bee
The Sacramento Old City Association was founded in 1972 to promote historic preservation and livability in Sacramento's central city. Today, SOCA is the largest historic preservation nonprofit in the city, weighing in on citywide preservation, transportation and urban planning issues but still focusing on the neighborhoods of Sacramento's urban core. William Burg is the president of SOCA.
